Overview:

The customer required a large semi-mature tree so JTS recommended Tilia platyphyllos (Lime). This species is relatively disease free and hardy to North East England. We used a hydraulic crane to lift and plant. Then we backfilled the hole and attached guys to maintain the tree’s position.

Prior to planting the rootball (containerised in a steel mesh) was irrigated thoroughly to ensure a successful result.
